Program Director
- Time Commitment: 25 - 30 hours per week (Monday- Friday)
Session Dates: June 26th - August 18th
Work Day Estimate- 9:00am-3:00pm
- Compensation: $25/hour
- Responsibilities:
- Build the curriculum and instructional program
- Teach STEM utilizing the US Sailing REACH Modules
- Attend and participate in Board meetings: offer suggestions, share experience, and provide program updates
- Supervise sailing instructors
- Manage Program Operations: schedule indoor and outdoor sessions
- Manage staff and participant scheduling, enforce proper safety measures, schedule boat maintenance, maintain insurance/ liability waivers
Sailing Instructor
- Time Commitment: 10 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Session Dates: June 26th – August 18th
Work Day Estimate- 9:30am-3:00pm
- Wage: $14-17/ hour
- Responsibilities:
- Teach STEM US Sailing Modules
- Build relationships with program participants and parents
- Facilitate sailing lessons
- Maintain safety precautions
- Assisting the program director to teach, and be in the water
Youth Participants (Will Enroll 8-10)
- Time Commitment: 10 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Session Dates: June 26th – August 18th
Work Day Estimate- 10:00am-2:00pm
- Participation Requirements:
- Organization confirmation of dates
- Students complete online application prior to camp
- Club Participants Receive:
- 30 hours in-class STEM US Sailing module training
- 30 hours on-water sailing lessons
- Jolly Madison Sailing Club clothing
- Sailing Certificate Accomplishment
